Men's Soccer Coaching Staff

Coach Divino has been involved with soccer since he was a kid, growing up in Brazil. He says, "Soccer reminds me a great deal of life in general.  You try to do what you think is right.  Many times it does not seem to work; but when everything "clicks” all the effort becomes worthwhile."

Dr. Divino has participated in it in several levels: as a player, as a coach, and as a manager. He played middle school, high school, college, and club. He always played the right wing position. Coach Divino was a starter for INTERNATIONAL Middle School, Colégio IBITURUNA, AETE club, and STEB club in Brazil. Dr. Divino coached the Antioch and the Corporate Express soccer clubs in New York city before moving to Rochester, MN.

Coach Divino had the opportunity of coaching the men’s soccer program here at the Crossroads College during the 2004, 2005, and 2006 seasons. Now he is coming back and he is very excited about this.

Working together as a team is the only way a soccer program can be successful. Dr. Divino strongly believes that athletics are a God-given opportunity to develop Christian character and develop leadership skills. He believes that all players should play together and play hard for the team and for themselves. Coach Divino believes in the development of personal relationships and the nurturing of a winning environment.
