Knights Sign DeAndre Robinson

ROCHESTER, MN- DeAndre Robinson from Walnut Grove High School in Loganville, GA has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball at Crossroads College. “Big D” averaged 5 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block per game for the Warriors who won the 8AAA regional championship in the GHSA. The 6’3 power forward/center helped lead the Warriors to a 24-3 overall record.
“DeAndre was a big reason we won 24 games.” Said Walnut Grove head coach Rob Donaldson. “He has an incredible knowledge of the game. He is one of the smartest players I have ever coached. DeAndre was a team captain and a quiet leader; he just went out there and did his thing. You’re really getting a great player.”
“I eat, drink, and think basketball.” Said DeAndre. “I am an extremely hard worker and put in many hours of extra work in addition to team practice.”
First year head coach Eric Perry believes Robinson is just what they need. “With his size, court vision and shooting ability, I believe he will come in right away and improve the chemistry of our team. I was very impressed with his work ethic and dedication to the game.”
