Focus
The focus of the Crossroads College's Family, Youth & Community major is to prepare men and women to serve, educate, and advocate for families and youth in a variety of community contexts. Students are prepared for service in educational, non-profit, social service, advocacy, and faith-based institutions.
Program Options
The Family, Youth & Community Life Major affords four different areas of emphasis, depending on the student’s interest: (a) Choice Concentration, (b) Concentration in Ministry, (c) Concentration in Educational Leadership, and (d) Concentration in Human Resources Development.

Overall Requirements
In order to earn a bachelor's degree from Crossroads College in Family, Youth, & Community, students must complete a General Studies Core of 51-52 semester hours, a Biblical & Theological Core of 30-38 semester hours (leading to a major in Biblical Studies & Theology), and the Family, Youth & Community Major. Those who complete a bachelor's degree with the Family, Youth & Community Major completes the requirements for provisional certification as a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) by the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR).
