Rochester, Minnesota

Rochester (population 101,764) is the 3rd largest city in the state of Minnesota. In the last ten years, Rochester has seen its population increase by over 21% thanks in part to a strong local economy and numerous mentions as one of the best cities, in the United States, to live in.

Best known as the home of the world-famous Mayo Clinic, Rochester is also home to the largest IBM complex under one roof as well as several other prominent businesses including Celestica, Pemstar, and Crenlo.

Located in southeast Minnesota, Rochester's proximity to other medium to larger-sized cities gives residents and visitors extraordinary access to various activities, shopping venues and other attractions throughout the state as well as the upper Midwest region.

Closer to home, Rochester boasts an extensive park system and offers recreational opportunities (including 8 golf courses, 50 miles of hiking and bike trails, as well as organized sports leagues) for people of virtually all ages. The spring and summer months feature a plethora of activities and events both in town and nearby that are sure to keep almost anybody busy.
